Korean company LG Mobile has officially released the latest software update for its LG G6 in the Korean market.

It has been confirmed that the Korean company to roll out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to LG G6 in the Korean market on 30 April 2018. Another two devices – LG G5 and LG V20 will receive the Oreo updates as well in the near future.

In generally, Android 8.0 Oreo brings several new features such as notification channels, Picture-in-Picture mode, new launcher interface, 3D touch like app shortcuts, Android Oreo helps minimize background activity in the apps you use least, Notification Dots, Smart text selection, Android Instant Apps and new emoji set. Of course, it includes other customized features of LG’s UI.

Before proceed with the software update, it is important to have at least 40% of battery life and it will take about an hour for the process to complete. Well. If your device is yet to receive the update, please wait it patiently as it is rolling out by batches. Kindly install LG Bridge on your PC for the update.
