Sony Xperia XZ2 is the first flagship-level smartphone from the Japanese firm with 6GB of RAM and Asian market is one of the key markets that gets the 6GB variant. Well. Benchmark tests had been conducted on the Xperia XZ2 6GB variant.
The first test was Antutu Benchmark. With the combination of Snapdragon 845 processor and 6GB of RAM, Xperia XZ2 scores 265,998 points as the device is on par with Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ that were launched recently.
The second test was GeekBench. Xperia XZ2 with 6GB RAM scores 2,402 points on Multi-core test and 8,489 points on Multi-core test.
The third test was AndroBench. The flagship from Japan scores 701.2MB/s on the Sequential Read, which is a good score for a flagship smartphone.
In conclusion, the Xperia XZ2 flagship finally hits its potential with the 6GB RAM alongside Snapdragon 845 processor. RAM for smartphone is definitely going to increase further and exceed the 8GB barrier in the near future.
