Japanese carrier AU has officially released the latest software update for its AQUOS sense SHV40 in the Japanese market.
According to the sources from Japan, Au is rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the AQUOS sense SHV40 smartphone from Sharp. Before the Oreo update, AQUOS sense SHV40 was previously running on the Android 7.1 Nougat.
In generally, Android 8.0 Oreo brings several new features such as notification channels, Picture-in-Picture mode, new launcher interface, 3D touch like app shortcuts, Android Oreo helps minimize background activity in the apps you use least, Notification Dots, Smart text selection, Android Instant Apps and new emoji set. Of course, it includes other customized features from AU and Sharp.
