Taiwanese HTC has officially released the latest software update for its HTC U Ultra smartphone.

According to HTC forum, the Taiwanese company is rolling out the Android 8.0 Oreo update to the HTC U Ultra. Before the Oreo update, U Ultra was previously on the Android Nougat OS.

In generally, Android 8.0 Oreo brings several new features such as notification channels, Picture-in-Picture mode, new launcher interface, 3D touch like app shortcuts, Android Oreo helps minimize background activity in the apps you use least, Notification Dots, Smart text selection, Android Instant Apps and new emoji set. Of course, it includes other customized features of HTC Sense UI.

Before proceed with the software update, it is important to have at least 40% of battery life and it will take about an hour for the process to complete. Well.
