Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has launched as probably the best phablet in 2017. Meanwhile Meizu Pro 6 Plus is the latest flagship of Pro series. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 and Meizu Pro 6 Plus.   

Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inches Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa-core processor, which consists of two sets of quad-core processor based on Kyro 280 and Adreno 540 GPU. The Galaxy Note 8 is still a 6GB RAM smartphone and there are three storage options available – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Galaxy Note 8 is also available in another variant that is powered by 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core processor and it depends on the region.

The rear-facing camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a dual camera module, which consists of 12MP shooter (f/1.7 aperture, wide-angle lens, OIS) and 12MP shooter (telephoto lens, f2.4 aperture, OIS). The front-facing camera of is a 8MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens. For the OS, Samsung preloads it with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. The battery is a 3300mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless. Due to the Infinity Display, the Note 8’s fingerprint sensor is also on the back panel. Samsung also ensures that the Note 8 is able to withstand the water splash and dust resistance.

Meizu Pro 6 Plus features a 5.7-inches AOD Super AMOLED On-Cell display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Samsung’s 64-bit Exynos 8890 octa-core processor, which consists of four Exynos M1 cores, four Cortex A53 cores and Mali T880 GPU. The RAM memory of Pro 6 Plus is 4GB while the internal storage options are 64GB and 128GB. Unfortunately, there is no microSD slot.

The rear-facing camera of Meizu Pro 6 Plus is a 12-megapixel Sony IMX318 shooter with f/2.0 aperture, 10 LEDs circle flash while the front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter. The smartphone is pre-loaded with Flyme OS based on Android. The battery of Meizu Pro 6 Plus is a 3,400mAh power battery, which is non-removable.

The fingerprint sensor of Meizu Pro 6 Plus is embedded onto the home button. There are two colors available – Champagne Gold, Space Gray and Silver.
