Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inches Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa-core processor, which consists of two sets of quad-core processor based on Kyro 280 and Adreno 540 GPU. The Galaxy Note 8 is still a 6GB RAM smartphone and there are three storage options available – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Galaxy Note 8 is also available in another variant that is powered by 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core processor and it depends on the region.
The rear-facing camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a dual camera module, which consists of 12MP shooter (f/1.7 aperture, wide-angle lens, OIS) and 12MP shooter (telephoto lens, f2.4 aperture, OIS). The front-facing camera of is a 8MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens. For the OS, Samsung preloads it with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. The battery is a 3300mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless. Due to the Infinity Display, the Note 8’s fingerprint sensor is also on the back panel. Huawei Mate 9 Pro features a 5.5-inches dual-curved Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD). This flagship smartphone is powered by 64-bit Hisilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor, which consists of four Cortex A73 cores and four A53 cores, as well as i6 co-processor and Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. The RAM memory of Mate 9 Pro starts from 4GB while the internal storage starts from 64GB. There is no worries for storage as Huawei Mate 9 Pro has a microSD slot by sacrificing the second SIM slot.
There are two rear-facing Leica camera lenses for Huawei Mate 9 Pro – 20-megapixel (monochrome) and 12-megapixel (RGB) with f/2.2 aperture, dual-tone LED flash, PDAF, CAF, Laser AF, OIS while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter (f/1.9 aperture). The smartphone is pre-loaded with EMUI 5.0 based on Android 7.1 Nougat. The battery of Mate 9 Pro is a 4,000mAh power battery, which is non-removable and supports SuperCharge. The fingerprint sensor of Mate 9 Pro is embedded onto the home button. It is available in two versions – 4GB RAM+64GB ROM and 6GB RAM+128GB ROM. There are several colors available – Haze Gold and Titanium Grey.
