Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has launched as probably the best phablet in 2017. Meanwhile Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the phablet flagship while Galaxy S6 Edge+ is the larger version of S6 Edge that were introduced in Q4 of 2015. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Samsung Galaxy Note 8, Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+.   
   
Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inches Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa-core processor, which consists of two sets of quad-core processor based on Kyro 280 and Adreno 540 GPU. The Galaxy Note 8 is still a 6GB RAM smartphone and there are three storage options available – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Galaxy Note 8 is also available in another variant that powered by 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core processor and it depends on the region.

The rear-facing camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a dual camera module, which consists of 12MP shooter (f/1.7 aperture, wide-angle lens, OIS) and 12MP shooter (telephoto lens, f2.4 aperture, OIS). The front-facing camera of is a 8MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens. For the OS, Samsung preloads it with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. The battery is a 3300mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless. Due to the Infinity Display, the Note 8’s fingerprint sensor is also on the back panel. Samsung also ensures that the Note 8 is able to withstand the water splash and dust resistance.
   
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It is powered by 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM memory. The main camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a 16-megapixel shooter with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is running on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and comes with a 3,000mAh non-removable battery as well as fingerprint scanner. The internal storage options of Samsung Galaxy Note 5 are 32GB and 64GB, but it doesn’t have microSD slot for further expansion.    
   
Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ has a 5.7-inch curved Super AMOLED display with 2K resolution. It is powered by 64-bit Exynos 7420 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM memory. The main camera of Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+ is a 16-megapixel shooter with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
