Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inches Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa-core processor, which consists of two sets of quad-core processor based on Kyro 280 and Adreno 540 GPU. The Galaxy Note 8 is still a 6GB RAM smartphone and there are three storage options available – 64GB, 128GB and 256GB. Galaxy Note 8 is also available in another variant that is powered by 64-bit Exynos 8895 octa-core processor and it depends on the region.
The rear-facing camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is a dual camera module, which consists of 12MP shooter (f/1.7 aperture, wide-angle lens, OIS) and 12MP shooter (telephoto lens, f2.4 aperture, OIS). The front-facing camera of is a 8MP shooter with f/1.7 aperture and wide-angle lens. For the OS, Samsung preloads it with Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will receive Android 8.0 Oreo in the future. The battery is a 3300mAh battery with fast charging both on wired and wireless. Due to the Infinity Display, the Note 8’s fingerprint sensor is also on the back panel. Samsung also ensures that the Note 8 is able to withstand the water splash and dust resistance.
Asus Zenfone AR features a 5.7-inches Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro quad-core processor, which consists of two sets of dual-core processor based on Kyro and Adreno 530 GPU. Apart from 8GB RAM version, Zenfone AR is also available in 6GB RAM.
The rear-facing camera of Asus Zenfone AR is a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 6p lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, PDAF, Laser Auto Focus while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter. The Zenfone AR is pre-loaded with Zen UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The battery is a 3,300mAh built-in battery. The fingerprint sensor of Zenfone AR is embedded onto the home button. The support of different VR platforms is the main selling point of Zenfone AR.
