Chinese brand Lenovo has officially launched its latest smartphone in the United States – Moto Z2 Play. It is a mid-range Android smartphone with 4G LTE support. Let’s take a look at the device’s specs, price and details.
Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inches Super AMOLED touchscreen display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution (FHD) and Gorilla Glass 3, which is sufficient for daily usage. The 5.5-inches display fits into the dimensions that measure at 156.2 x 76.2 x 5.99mm and weights at 145g.
For performance-wise, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 626 MSM8953 Pro octa-core processor, which consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 506 GPU alongside 3GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of Moto Z2 Play is 32GB and you don’t have to worry about storage because it also supports external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.5-inches device has a 12-megapixel alongside a 5-megapixel cameras on the rear and front respectively. Other notable features of the rear-facing camera are dual-tone LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF and HDR. With the supportive LED flash, users are able to capture brighter photos during the night and under low light conditions.
Regarding its network support, Moto Z2 Play is compatible with multiple LTE network bands and supports dual SIM, hence users are able to insert two SIM cards together. Other key features/specs are USB OTG, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as reversible USB Type-C instead of traditional micro USB.
Android 7.1 Nougat version is the operating system of Moto Z2 Play. As for the power, it does come with 3,000mAh non-removable battery and Turbo Charging. Moto Z2 Play also supports Moto Mods like its predecessor Moto Z Play such as JBL SoundBoost 2 mod, TurboPower mod and Moto Gamepad mod.
Moto Z2 Play has a front mounting fingerprint sensor. This Nougat flavoured smartphone is available in multiple colors such as Lunar Gray, Nimbus Blue and Fine Gold colors while the pricing is priced at USD 499. Meanwhile, Moto Z2 Play is also available in 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM version that launched in Brazil for R1,999.
