Xiaomi Mi6 is the flagship with dual camera module and curved glass panels. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus are the latest flagships from the Korean company. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Xiaomi Mi6, Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

Xiaomi Mi6 features a 5.15-inches Eye Protection display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (FHD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 octa-core processor, which consists of two sets of quad-core processor based on Kyro 280 and Adreno 540 GPU. The RAM memory of Mi6 is the standrd 6GB for a flagship. The internal storage options of Mi6 are 64GB and 128GB. However, there is no expansion slot.

The Xiaomi Mi6 has a dual camera module on the back, which consists of 12MP (wide angle) + 12MP (telephoto), dual tone LED flash, 4-axis OIS, f/1.8 aperture while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel camera. It is pre-installed with MIUI on top of Android OS. The battery of Xiaomi Mi6 is a 3,350mAh built-in battery that supports Quick Charge. The fingerprint sensor of Xiaomi Mi6 is mounted under the glass of front panel. The colors available are – Black, White, Blue and Ceramic. In addition, the device is able withstand water splash.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus features a 6.2-inches Infinity Display with Quad HD+ resolution. This flagship smartphone has two different processors as the US version is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 835 MSM8998 processor while EMEA regions will get 64-bit Exynos 8895 processor instead. S8 Plus is available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options while the internal storage options are 64GB and 128GB. Of course, it has a microSD slot too.

Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel camera, which consists of LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, PDAF, OIS while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture too. Honestly, its rather surprise that the S8 Plus doesn’t feature dual module camera. It is pre-installed with TouchWiz UI on top of Android 7.0 Nougat. For the battery, it comes with a 3,500mAh battery and supports Quick Charge. Another surprise feature is the fingerprint sensor as Samsung has moved it to the back panel rather than the original home button position. In addition, the device also boasts Ultra High Quality Audio Playback as well as IP68 standard of water and dust resistant.
