LG G6 being described as a new flagship as the Korean company has ditched the unpopular modular design. On the other hand, the Oppo R9S and R9S Plus are the improved flagships of R series. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of LG G6, Oppo R9S and R9S Plus.

LG G6 features a 5.7-inches FullVision display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro quad-core processor, which consists of two sets of dual-core processor based on Kyro and Adreno 530 GPU . The RAM memory of LG G6 is still 4GB as the Korean decides not to join the 6GB RAM party. There are two ROM options available – 32GB and 64GB while there is a slot for storage expansion.

The LG G6 features dual camera module on the back, which consists of two 13-megapixel cameras alongside OIS 2.0, LED flash while the front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter (f/2.2 aperture). The LG smartphone is pre-installed with LG UX 6.0 based on Android 7.0 Nougat. Finally, LG brings an end to the removable battery and modular design as the LG G6 has a built-in battery with sealed cover. The fingerprint sensor of LG G6 remains on the back panel and it comes with new colors – Mystic white, astro black and ice platinum.

Oppo R9S features a 5.5-inches AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (FHD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 octa-core processor, which consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 506 GPU. The RAM memory of R9S is 4GB and the internal storage is 64GB. There is no worries for storage as R9S supports microSD.

The rear-facing camera of R9S is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 camera with f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, dual PDAF, EIS, 6p lens while the front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture). The Oppo R9S is pre-loaded with ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The battery of R9S is a 3,010mAh power battery, which is non-removable and supports VOOC charge.

The fingerprint sensor of Oppo R9S is embedded onto the home button. There are several colors available – gold, rose gold and black.

Oppo R9S Plus features a 6.0-inches AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (FHD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 653 MSM8976 Pro octa-core processor, which consists of four Cortex A72 cores, four Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 510 GPU. The RAM memory of R9S Plus is 6GB and the internal storage is 64GB. There is no worries for storage as R9S Plus supports microSD.

The rear-facing camera of R9S Plus is a 16-megapixel Sony IMX398 camera with f/1.7 aperture, dual LED flash, dual PDAF, OIS+, 6p lens, 1.12um while the front-facing camera is a 16-megapixel shooter (f/2.0 aperture). The Oppo R9S Plus is pre-loaded with ColorOS 3.0 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The battery of R9S is a 4,000mAh power battery, which is non-removable and supports VOOC charge.

The fingerprint sensor of Oppo R9S Plus is embedded onto the home button. There are several colors available – gold, rose gold and black.
