Huawei P10 is a flagship with both front and rear-facing Leica cameras. On the other hand, Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is the (probably) the best Android phone to-date. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Huawei P10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7.
Huawei P10 features a 5.1-inches IPS LCD display with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution (FHD). This flagship smartphone is powered by 64-bit Hisilicon Kirin 960 octa-core processor, which consists of four Cortex A73 cores and four A53 cores, as well as i6 co-processor and Mali G71 Octa-core GPU. The RAM memory of Huawei P10 is only available in 4GB. However, there are three storage options – 32GB, 64GB and 128GB. There is no worries for storage as Huawei P10 has a microSD slot by sacrificing the second SIM slot.
The Huawei P10 has a dual camera module on the back, which consists of 20MP (Monochrome) + 12MP (RGB), dual tone LED flash, OIS, f/2.2 aperture while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel Leica camera. It is pre-installed with EMUI 5.1 based on Android 7.0 Nougat version. The battery of Huawei P10 is a 3,200mAh built-in battery that supports SuperCharge. The fingerprint sensor of P10 is different from the predecessor as it is front mounted. The colors available are – Mystic Silver, Rose Gold, Graphite Black, Dazzling Gold, Dazzling Blue and Greenery.
Samsung Galaxy Note 7 features a 5.7-inches curved Super AMOLED display with Quad HD resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by either 64-bit Snapdragon 820 quad-core processor or Exynos 8890 octa-core processor. The RAM memory of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is 4GB, which is rather a disappointment as the Korean company is yet to jump onto 6GB RAM bandwagon.
The rear-facing camera of Galaxy Note 7 is a 12-megapixel shooter with LED flash, dual pixel PDAF, Smart OIS, f/1.7 aperture while the front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter with f/1.7 aperture too. TouchWiz UI on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is the operating system of Galaxy Note 7 and comes with a 3,500mAh non-removable battery. Iris scanner on the front is also first of its kind for a flagship smartphone from major brands alongside fingerprint sensor and heart rate sensor.
Samsung has improved the Note 7 further with IP68 ratings water and dust resistance. Improved S Pen stylus and USB Type-C port are another two important features of Galaxy Note 7.
