Korean company LG has officially announced its latest wearable – LG Watch Sport. It is an Android Wear smartwatch running on Android Wear 2.0 operating system. Let’s take a look at the device’s specs and details.
LG Watch Sport features a 1.38-inches circular P-OLED display with 480 x 480 pixels resolution. For performance-wise, it is powered by Qualcomm’s 1.1 GHz Snapdragon Wear 2100 (MSM8909W) processor and 768MB of RAM while the internal storage is 4GB eMMC.
LG Watch Sport features sensors such as accelerometer, compass, gyroscope, barometer and heart rate sensor are features in the device. Regarding its connectivity, LG Watch Sport is able to connect to LTE/3G, GPS, NFC (via Android Pay), Bluetooth and WiFi. Users are able to listen to music as it has a standalone music player.
There is no need to worry on the water splash as it supports water and dust resistant up to IP68 standard. The dimensions of LG Watch Sport are measured at 45.4 x 51.21 x 14.2mm and weights on 89g. The device is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.3 and above as well as iOS.
LG Watch Sport comes in titanium and dark blue colors, is priced at $349 in the United States. Carriers such as Verizon and AT&T as well as Google Play are the channels to purchase it.
