The MWC 2017 is around the corner and the spec sheet of LG G6 have been leaked and the spec sheet confirms that there is no Snapdragon 835 in it.
According to the leaked spec sheet, the LG G6 has a Snapdragon 821 MSM8996AC quad-core processor instead of Snapdragon 835, which is the main flagship processor in this year. The spec sheet further reveals that LG G6 supports water and dust resistance. The music experience of LG G6 will be fulfilled by the quad DAC under the hood.
The LG G5 has a fingerprint sensor on the rear and the upcoming LG G6 will also have the a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. This is definitely not a good news for those who like front mounted fingerprint sensor. Lastly, the spec sheet also reveals that G6 has a 5.7-inch Full Vision display.
Apart from the hardware, the leaked spec sheet also reveals partial look of the LG G6 and it looks like have a high screen-to-body ratio sans physical home button. The hardware details from the leaked spec sheet are indeed similar to those leaked earlier.
With the Snapdragon 821 quad-core processor, LG G6 is definitely not on par with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 as the new flagship from Samsung will be the first smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor. Hence, the first batch stocks of Snapdragon 835 processor are going to Samsung and it is difficult to supply for LG. On the other hand, LG refuses to take the risk on new and untested Snapdragon 835 processor as they bet on the G6 to turn their smartphone business around.
