Filipino company Cherry Mobile has officially launched its latest smartphone in the Philippines – Cherry Mobile FB100. It is a Facebook-oriented smartphone. Let’s take a look at the device’s specs and details.
Cherry Mobile FB100 features a 5.0-inches IPS touchscreen display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution (HD), which is sufficient for daily usage.
For performance-wise, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor alongside 1GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of Cherry Mobile FB100 is 8GB and you don’t have to worry about storage because it also supports external storage expansion through microSD card.
This 5.0-inches device has an 8-megapixel camera on the back with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for both selfie and video calls. With the supportive LED flash, users are able to capture brighter photos during the night and under low light conditions. Furthermore, the LED flash is can be used as a flash light as well.
Regarding its network support, Cherry Mobile FB100 is compatible with GSM/WCDMA networks and supports dual SIM, hence users are able to insert two SIM cards together. Other key features/specs are 3.5mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, as well as a micro USB port instead of reversible USB Type-C.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow version is the operating system of Cherry Mobile FB100. As for the battery, it does come with 2,000mAh of battery juice (removable).
The home button of Cherry Mobile FB100 is a Facebook shortcut key that users are able to launch Facebook anytime. The smartphone costs PHP 2,999 in the Philippines.
