Asus Zenfone AR is the world’s first 8GB RAM smartphone. On the other hand, Redmi Note 4 is the latest device of Note series and Note 3 is the predecessor. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Asus Zenfone AR, Redmi Note 4 and Redmi Note 3.

Asus Zenfone AR features a 5.7-inches Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution (Quad HD). This flagship smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 821 MSM8996 Pro quad-core processor, which consists of two sets of dual-core processor based on Kyro and Adreno 530 GPU. Asus Zenfone AR is the world’s first smartphone with 8GB of RAM and also available in 6GB RAM version.

The rear-facing camera of Asus Zenfone AR is a 23-megapixel Sony IMX318 camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 6p lens, 4-axis OIS, 3-axis EIS, PDAF, Laser Auto Focus while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter. The Asus Zenfone AR is pre-loaded with Zen UI based on Android 7.0 Nougat. The battery of Zenfone AR is a 3,300mAh power battery. The fingerprint sensor of Zenfone AR is embedded onto the home button. The Zenfone AR supports both Tango AR and Google’s Daydream VR platforms.

Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inches curved IPS LCD display with FHD resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 deca-core processor, which consists of two Cortex A72 cores, two sets of four Cortex A53 cores and 780MHz Mali T880 GPU. The RAM options of Redmi Note 4 start from 2GB and there is a microSD slot for storage expansion.

The rear-facing camera of Redmi Note 4 is a 13-megapixel shooter with dual LED flash, PDAF, f/2.0 aperture while the front-facing camera is an 8-megapixel shooter with f/2.0 aperture too. MIUI 8 on top of Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow is the operating system of Redmi Note and comes with a 4,100mAh non-removable battery. The fingerprint scanner of Redmi Note 4 is on the back panel right below the camera lens.

Redmi Note 4 is available in two versions – Standard version (2GB + 16GB ROM) and High end version (3GB + 64GB ROM). However, not every country will get both versions.

Redmi Note 3 has a 5.5 display with FHD resolution. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 MT6795 octa-core processor and 2GB of RAM memory. Redmi Note 3 has a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera alongside a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. This 4G LTE smartphone is running on MIUI version 7 of operating system and comes with a 4,100mAh non-removable battery. This 5.5-inch smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor on the back. Redmi Note 3 is available in two versions – 2GB RAM + 16GB ROM and 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM. Unfortunately, both versions do not support microSD expansion.
