Great news! Korean company Samsung has just announced that various devices – from Samsung Galaxy S6 to the Galaxy Tab A with S Pen will receive Android 7.0 Nougat updates in the first half of 2017.

Samsung has announced that device such as Samsung Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and S6 Edge Plus, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Tab A with S Pen, Galaxy Tab S2 (LTE unlock), Galaxy A3, and Galaxy A8 will get the latest Android 7.0 Nougat update within the first half of 2017. Unfortunately, there is no specific timeline for the release of the update.

The changelog for the Android 7.0 Nougat update details several UX and performance fixes, including improvements to notifications, multi-window mode, always-on display, and enhancements to the system upgrade and app installation process. Samsung will also add several additional features to the new updates as well.

Previously, the latest Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge have been received the Android 7.0 Nougat updates.
