Chinese company Xiaomi has officially launched the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in the international markets and the device has been modified slightly to accommodate the international users.
The Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5-inch IPS display with FHD resolution. It has a 13-megapixel camera on the back and a 5-megapixel camera on the front. The operating system is MIUI 8, which is based on the Android 6.0 Marshmallow version. For the battery, it has a 4,100mAh non-removable battery.
For the processor, the Redmi Note 4 was initially launched with a 64-bit MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 deca-core processor, which consists of two Cortex A72 cores, two sets of four Cortex A53 cores and Mali-T880 MP4 GPU in the Chinese market. However, the Chinese firm has replaced the Helio X20 with Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 625 MSM8953 octa-core processor, which consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and Adreno 506 GPU for the international markets.
The Redmi Note 4 is available in India for various price tags – 2GB RAM + 32GB storage is going for INR 9,999; 3GB RAM + 32GB storage is priced at INR 10,999; and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage is priced at INR 12,999.
