The annual MWC event is just about a month away and traditional phone maker HTC has some bad news for its fans as a top exec of the company has confirmed that there is no high end flagship and Android Wear.

According to a General Manager of HTC named Chialin Chang, the Snapdragon 835 powered flagship will only release in April 2017 instead of February 2017. He further said that most of companies will wait for April 2017 as the high end processor should enter mass production in that period of time.

The Chialin Chang also said that HTC is not the only company that will not unveil new flagship at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The upcoming flagship of HTC is known as HTC Ocean via its codename and it should be the successor of HTC 10 in the market.

Apart from smartphone, the General Manager also confirmed that HTC will not introduce any Android wear device at the MWC 2017. The reason is because leader Apple cant turn the wearable business around.
