CHINA: After Oppo and Huawei, another Chinese brand Meizu has set its date of upcoming launch event on October 31st for new devices of second half in 2016.
According to Meizu, the launch event is scheduled for October 31st and the venue has been set at the South Plaza of Bird Nest Stadium in Beijing, China. The launch event is different from the ordinary keynotes as the Chinese brand has referred it as concert and a night for Meilan fans.
The upcoming device of Meilan series is said to be Meizu M5 as the Chinese company is expected to skip M4 due to the dislike of number 4th among the Chinese community. Sources from China claimed that the Meizu M5 will feature a 5.2-inches display instead of 5-inches of Meizu M3.
Apart from the display size, the resolution is said to be 720 x 1280 pixels. For the hardware, the processor should be 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 quad-core processor, which consists of eight Cortex A53 cores and Mali T860 MP2 GPU alongside 2GB of RAM memory. The rear-facing camera of Meizu M5 is expected to be a 13-megapixel shooter while the operating system is based on YunOS.
Stay tuned for more updates on Meizu M5.
