Meizu MX6 has been launched as the first smartphone with TDDI InCell display. On the other hand, the Meizu MX5 was introduced in 2015 as the first batch of smartphones to feature Helio X10 chipset. Which device features the best specifications? Let’s compare the specs of Meizu MX6, Meizu MX5 and Meizu MX4 Pro.
Meizu MX6 features a 5.5-inches TDDI InCell display with FHD resolution. This flagship smartphone is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X20 MT6797 deca-core processor, which consists of two Cortex A72 cores, two sets of four Cortex A53 cores and 780MHz Mali T880 GPU while RAM memory is 4GB. The rear-facing camera of Meizu MX6 smartphone is a 12-megapixel Sony IMX386 camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, dual tone LED flash while the front-facing camera is a 5-megapixel shooter.
The operating system is Flyme OS on top of Android 6.0 Marshmallow and it supports multiple 4G LTE bands. The battery of Meizu MX6 is a 3,060mAh built-in battery and there is a mTouch fingerprint sensor that embedded onto the home button. The Meizu MX6 has lower megapixels than the previous Meizu MX5, but the new Sony IMX386 camera sensor is indeed better. The TDDI InCell display of Meizu MX6 is also the first of its kind.
Meizu MX5 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. It is powered by 64-bit MediaTek Helio X10 Turbo MT6795T octa-core processor and 3GB of RAM memory. The main camera of Meizu MX5 is a 20.7-megapixel camera with laser focus and Sony Exmor RS sensor together with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is running on Flyme 4.5 based on Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box and comes with a 3,150 non-removable battery as well as improved mTouch 2.0 fingerprint scanner. The Meizu MX5 is available in three version 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage option, bu doesn’t support storage expansion.
Meizu MX4 Pro has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 2K display resolution. It is powered by Exynos 5430 quad-core processor and 3GB of RAM memory. The main camera of Meizu MX4 Pro is a 20.7-megapixel Sony camera together with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is running on Flyme 4.1 based on Android 4.4 KitKat and comes with a 3,350mAh non-removable battery. Meizu MX4 Pro doesn’t support storage expansion because it doesn’t have microSD slot.
