Chinese brand Xiaomi has officially launched its new smartphone of Redmi series in Brazil – the Redmi 2 Pro. The new Redmi 2 Pro is an upgrade of Redmi 2 and let’s take a look at the specs.
Redmi 2 Pro smartphone has a 4.7-inch IPS LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution (HD) and 312ppi. It is powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 410 MSM8916 quad-core processor based on Cortex A53 as well as Adreno 306 GPU and 2GB of RAM memory. The internal storage of Redmi 2 Pro is 16GB but it doesn’t support storage expansion.
The 4.7-inch smartphone features an 8-megapixel Omnivision rear-facing camera with LED flash and f/2.2 aperture alongside a 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calls. Both cameras are equipped with CMOS image sensor for better camera experience. Other key features/specs of Redmi 2 Pro smartphone are USB OTG, 3.5mm audio jack, multiple sensors, Bluetooth, GPS and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
Redmi 2 Pro is compatible with GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, WCDMA 850/900//1900/2100 and FDD-LTE 1700/1900/2600 MHz networks. The device supports maximum download speed on 4G of 150Mbps and maximum download speed on 4G of 50Mbps due to the LTE Cat. 4. Redmi 2 Pro is a dual SIM smartphone, hence, users are able to insert two SIM cards into the device.
Redmi 2 Pro is running on MIUI based on Android version of operating system and comes with 2,200mAh of battery juice (removable and Quick Charge 1.0).
This MIUI flavoured smartphone comes in Dark Grey color and is priced at BRL 799 in Brazil.
