Google has been working hard on the Android 5.1 Lollipop updates and the latest device to get the update is the Nexus 9 tablet that manufactured by HTC.

Google has officially made announcement through the Nexus page on Google+ that the official Android 5.1.1 update has been rolling out the Nexus 9 tablet through OTA. The Nexus 9 was launched with Android 5.0.1 lollipop before received Android 5.0.2 update and now the latest Android 5.1.1 version.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop update file is large in size and it is best to download the update through stable Wi-Fi network and at least 30 percent of battery power. You also can manually search for the update through settings in the device if it doesn’t arrive through OTA.

The Android 5.1 Lollipop update improves the performance and stability as well as additional features such as multiple SIMs support and HD Voice. The Android 5.1 Lollipop will also fix the memory leak problem.
