Samsung has been busy with the release of Android 5.0 Lollipop update in the past few weeks and the Korean firm has started rolling out the Lollipop update to the Samsung Galaxy Alpha (SM-G850).

According to Korean sources, Samsung Galaxy Alpha (SM-G850) is now available for update to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop update through Kies and OTA. It has been confirmed by users in South Korea that their Samsung Galaxy Alpha device had received the Lollipop update.

Kindly connect your device to Wi-Fi before proceed to the system update because the file size is a few hundreds MB. You don’t have to worry if your device is yet to receive the update because Samsung is rolling out the update by different batches.

The new update will bring enhancements of the lock screen to update content as well as change of the user interface of the application history.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha devices in the global markets are expected to receive the Lollipop update soon.
