Australian operator, Telstra has officially announced its latest smartphone that manufactured by ZTE – the Telstra Evolution aka ZTE T80. Telstra Evolution is available in Australia through Telstra carrier.
Telstra Evolution has a 4.0-inch LCD display with 480 x 800 pixels resolution (WVGA). The device is powered by a 1.3GHz Snapdragon quad-core processor (unknown processor model) and 1GB RAM. The internal storage of Telstra Evolution is 4GB and can be expanded with a microSD card.
The rear-facing camera of Telstra Evolution is 5-megapixel shooter with CMOS while the front-facing camera is a VGA shooter is also with CMOS sensor. Other notable specs of Telstra Evolution are micro-SIM, 3.5mm audio jack, GPS, micro USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz).
The Telstra Evolution supports FDD-LTE 2600 (B7) / 1800 (B3) / 700 (B28) MHz, TD-LTE 2300 (B40) MHz, W-CDMA 2100 (I) / 900 (VIII) MHz, GSM 1900/1800/900/850 MHz networks. The device supports maximum download speed of 150Mbps and maximum upload speed of 50Mbps thanks to the LTE UE Category 4 support.
Telstra Evolution is running on Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of operating system and comes with a 1,820mAh battery. The device will be released in Australia through Telstra. Telstra Evolution is also known as the ZTE T80.
