In the past, we had ZTE Nubia Z5 Mini, which is a smaller device that based on the Nubia Z5. ZTE Nubia NX507J and NX505J were spotted on the database of Chinese authority. If the NX505J with 5.5-inch of display is the Nubia Z7, how about the NX507J with a smaller display? It is likely to be the Nubia Z7 Mini.
The ZTE Nubia NX507J had been certified by Chinese telecommunication authority a few weeks ago. It features a 5-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The ZTE Nubia NX507J is powered by a 2GHz quad-core processor and 2GB of RAM while the internal storage is 16GB (can be expanded with MicroSD slot).
The ZTE Nubia NX507J has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and a main camera with at least 8-megapixel shooter. The main camera has a CMOS sensor and supports 1080p video recording feature. Other notable features of ZTE Nubia NX507J include WLAN, Bluetooth, MicroUSB, GPS and GPRS.
We found out that the dimension of NX507J is similar to the NX505J. It is almost impossible because both devices have different display sizes. Therefore, it could be a mistake by the Chinese authority unless the NX505J has an ultra-thin bezel. It supports TD-LTE and TD-SCDMA networks in China, but it isn’t an exclusive smartphone for China Mobile. The software version of the device is Android 4.4.2 KitKat.
From the specs above, the NX507J could be the Nubia Z7 Mini that we are waiting for. The identity of the 2GHz quad-core processor is still a mystery. We are unable to guess the processor based on the rather unique clock speed.
