LG introduced three new tablets of the G Pad series back in May. The new tablets are LG G Pad 7.0, LG G Pad 8.0 and also LG G Pad 10.1. There are a total of four tablets under the G Pad series with the inclusion of LG G Pad 8.3. Finally, the largest tablet of the G Pad series begins its global rollout.
The LG G Pad 10.1 has a 10.1-inch display with 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. The internal storage is 16GB and can be expanded further with a MicroSD card. The main camera is 5-megapixel while the front-facing camera is 1.3-megapixel.
LG G Pad 10.1 runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat version of operating system and there is an 8,000mAh battery for long hours of usage. The dimension of LG G Pad 10.1 is measured at 260.9 x 165.9 x 8.9mm alongside its 523g of weight.
LG mentioned that the LG G Pad 10.1 has a host of additional features that adopted from the LG G3, such as Touch & Shoot, Gesture Shot, Smart Keyboard and Dual Window.
The LG G Pad 10.1 will make its debut in the United States followed by other markets in Europe, Asia and Latin America later in the month. Prices and retail availability will be announced locally in each market. It is available in black and red colors.
