The new press shots of the LG Nexus 5 have leaked earlier today. The press shots providing a clear look at the handset as well as the home screen of the Android 4.4 KitKat. The LG Nexus 5 had been leaked for several times in the past, it’s no longer a secret among Android fans around the world.
The design of LG Nexus 5 is the same like those leaked we’ve seen in the past few weeks. The device is still in the elegant black color. For the software, the Android .4.4 KitKat has a clear and simple design. The wallpapers and the user interface of KitKat are totally different from the Jelly Bean version. Google is set to replace the Google Hangouts app as the default messaging app.
The LG Nexus 5 set to come with 5-inch IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. The chipset inside the device is Snapdragon 800 from Qualcomm. Google and LG may use the latest MSM8974AB for the device. For the camera, it has a large lens on the back of the device which is just an 8-megapixel shooter. The lens size is larger than ordinary smartphone but the megapixel is lower.
The LG Nexus 5 will become the first smartphone to run on Android 4.4 KitKat. There are two versions – 16GB and 32GB available. The price is $399 for the 16GB version and the 32GB will come with higher price. The fifth generation Nexus smartphone still doesn’t come with MicroSD slot. The LG Nexus 5 has blazing fast mobile connection with its Cat. 4 LTE connection as revealed by GCF Certification earlier.
