Samsung Galaxy Note 3 goes head to head the Huawei Ascend P6 and Huawei Ascend Mate. Huawei Ascend P6 is about design while the Ascend Mate is about size. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 5.7-inch display that slotted between the 6.1-inch of Huawei Ascend Mate and 4.7-inch of Huawei Ascend P6. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 features 1080p Full HD display while Huawei devices having 720p HD display.
For the processor, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is powered by the fast blazing Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor. It is probably the fastest processor in the market. Huawei Ascend P6 and Ascend Mate are powered by a 1.5GHz Hisilicon K3V2 quad-core processor from Huawei. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has Exynos 5 Octa version, which is in the HSPA+ market.
For the RAM, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 breaks the record as it is the first device with 3GB of RAM as well as 32GB and 64GB of storage options. For Huawei Ascend P6, the internal memory is 8GB with 2GB of RAM. The internal memory of Huawei Ascend Mate is 8GB with 1GB 2GB of RAM. All three devices support MicroSD expansion.
Let’s talk about the camera. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 has a 13-megapixel high resolution camera on the back and the front camera is a 1.9-megapixel shooter. The rear cameras of Huawei Ascend Mate and Ascend P6 feature an 8MP shooter while the front facing camera of Huawei Ascend P6 is the best among all devices at 5MP. All three devices have LED flash. The main camera of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 supports 4K video recording.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is the first device with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean and the Huawei Ascend P6 are preloaded with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean while the Huawei Ascend Mate is preloaded with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Huawei is likely to release Android 4.2 and 4.3 to both of these devices but no exact date yet. Samsung Galaxy Note 3 will receive Android 4.4 KitKat but not so soon.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 measures at 151.2 x 79.2 x 8.3 mm together with 168g of weight. Huawei Ascend measures at 132.7 x 65.5 x 6.2 mm and 120g. For the Huawei Ascend Mate, the measurement is 163.5 x 85.7 x 9.9 mm and the weight is 198g.
For the wireless connections, all three devices are equipped with A-GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, MicroUSB port and etc. LG G2 is the only device that supports the 4G LTE.
Last but not least is the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 comes with a 3,200mAh battery. The monster size Huawei Ascend Mate has a 4050mAh battery while the Huawei Ascend P6 has a 2000mAh battery.
