Today is about LG Nexus 5 as most of the leaks are related to the upcoming Nexus smartphone from LG and Google. The LG Nexus 5 aka Google Nexus 5 has been spotted on GFXBench benchmark site. Full HD 1080p display and Snapdragon 800 processor confirmed.

From the details listed on GFXBench, the LG Nexus 5 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat when it was tested on the GFXBench benchmark website. The “KeyLimePie” is the former name of Android 4.4 KitKat. The fifth generation Nexus smartphone is powered by 2.26GHz Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor.

Furthermore, the display resolution is 1794 x 1080. It isn’t 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution because the device could be a prototype and not the finalize LG Nexus 5 device. The LG Nexus 5 is also known as the LG Hammerhead in code name. Earlier, the LG Nexus 5 was spotted on WiFi Certification database and confirmed that the device has two different versions.

Update: The 1794 x 1080 pixel resolution is because the device has on screen buttons.

Display resolution of 1794 x 1080 is because of the on-screen buttons.

This. As an app developer, one of the things you slowly discover is that most apps see the screen resolution without the width/height of the on-screen buttons.

Although it’s nice to know that this thing will be packed to the gills with the latest specs. Make it the same price (maybe at most $50 higher) and it’s a deal.
