Home Benchmark NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium Leaks, Mystery Tegra 4 Device Spotted On GFXBench

It has been a frustrating year for Nvidia as the Tegra 4 is a failure in the mobile device market. Intel Atom-powered smartphones and tablets are more popular among manufacturers than the Nvidia Tegra 4. There is a new tablet that is powered by Tegra 4 processor – NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium.

NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium device was spotted on GFXBench, a benchmark database. This means that NVIDIA is ready to release its own tablet rather than relying on other manufacturers.

From the information of GFXBench, the NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium is powered by 1.8GHz Tegra 4 processor. It has a 1280 x 736 pixels resolution which considers as super low for the current tablet market. The NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium is likely to feature a 7-inch tablet with such resolution. NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium is also featured Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system.

From the premature specs of NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium, they are similar to first generation Nexus 7 tablet. However, the NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium is far behind the NVIDIA Shield on the GFXBench database.

There are so many Snapdragon and Intel tablets in the market. Is NVIDIA Tegra Note Premium still relevant in the tablet market?
