Dimitar Valev, a Sales and Marketing Manager for LG in Bulgaria confirmed the devices are in the development process. He mentioned that the market was not ready for the smartwatch when LG launched the LG GD910 Watch Phone back in 2009. Valev expects the market to change completely as the Korean firm is ready to release its own smartwatch in the first quarter of next year.
It was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2013 back in February where LG will release its own Firefox OS smartphone in the future. Valev said it would likely come out in the early part of next year, followed by an Android handset that’s “even bigger” than the Optimus Vu and Optimus G Pro.
For this year, he further mentioned that LG will release a new tablet before the end of this year. The tablet is likely to be the LG V500 and LG V507L that were leaked before. IFA 2013 could be the event where LG will announce its new tablet.
