A few days ago, Huawei Ascend P6 was launched in London. The Chinese company labelled the device as the world’s thinnest smartphone due to its 6.18mm body. But now, another Chinese company Umeox officially unveiled the Umeox X5.
The Umeox X5 has been unveiled on the official website of Umeox. The ultra thin device can be seen on the first page of the official website. It clearly mentioned that the device has 5.6mm body. This makes the Umeox X5 as the new world’s thinnest smartphone, overtakes Huawei Ascend P6.
The Umeox X5 is about 0.5mm thinner than the Huawei Ascend P6. The difference of 0.5mm can be seen with raw eyes as well as feel with hands. But the specs of Umeox X5 are not on the same level like Huawei Ascend P6.
The Umeox X5 has a 5.3-inch display but the pixels resolution remains mystery. It is powered by a dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. The rear-facing camera of Umeox X5 is an 8MP shooter while the front-facing camera of Umeox X5 is a 3MP shooter.
France in Europe is the first country to get the Umeox X5 in this summer. No pricing and exact launch date available.
